Kemsing village is located in the district of Sevenoaks in Kent. It is just four miles from Sevenoaks town and includes the hamlets of Noah's Ark and Heaverham within the parish, which is twinned with Compton. St Edith of Wilton was born in Kemsing and the local well, which is said to have healing properties, is named after her. Nearby buildings in the village include St Edith's Hall, with her statue outside, as well pretty little cottages and the war memorial. Residents are proud of their village, which includes roads such as West End, St Edith's Road, Dynes Road, Childsbridge Road and High Street, where there is a social club and veterinary surgery. Kemsing has a railway station and it is in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
